Solar’s partner ShoreTel is continuing to boost its reputation for innovation, announcing an increase to its Innovation Network, which now stands at 85 partners strong.

The ShoreTel Innovation Network has been cultivated to allow members to leverage the brilliantly simple UC supplier’s open platform, integrating products and services and extending the benefits to the end user.

In January, ShoreTel announced the addition of six new Innovation Network Partners: ADTRAN, Bell Canada, ClearOne, Polaris Communications, Xarios Technologies and Xima Software. By adding to the network, ShoreTel aims to develop services, software and hardware to extend its UC capabilities and enterprise contact centre solutions.

Members of the ShoreTel Innovation Network benefit from expert technical support when building advanced applications that seamlessly integrate with the company’s open platform. Using widely accepted and commonly known techniques, app developers and member partners can collaborate with ease. The end results are services, hardware and software that help enrich communications for all ShoreTel customers.

Innovation Network additions

This new group of additions to the ShoreTel Innovation Network include high quality headset designer and manufacturer Polaris. The Australian-owned company has developed product integration with ShoreTel’s UC platform in order to allow call handling through its headset.

There is also the addition of Xarios Technologies, whose call recording solution can monitor and record 1,000 trunks, while delivering enterprise call recording and functionality to any size of system.

Bell Canada offers SIP trunking to ShoreTel’s Canadian customers. ADTRAN’s enterprise Session Border Controllers (eSBCs) simplify the management and interoperability of customer premises equipment.

ClearOne’s CONVERGE Pro VH20 is a powerful conferencing solution, and Xima delivers real-time and historical data and employee performance stats for end customers.

ShoreTel’s Chad Horton, manager of innovation and network services, said “We’re pleased to welcome new companies into the program, and look forward to continuing to work closely with our entire network to provide end-users with the most robust communications platform available.”
